Sinds januari 2023 is de  Turkse professor Ayben Kaynar Tanir te gast in het atelier Vrije Grafiek van de Academie Beeldende Kunst Gent.

Met een Tübak-beurs  op zak, vervoegde ze ons gedurende dit jaar voor onderzoek 'niet-toxische grafiek' ter gelegenheid van  haar postdoctoraat.

Ook K.A.S.K. - School of Arts is  een partner voor dit postdoc, meer bepaald het labo van dr. Maria Boto Ordoñez , die onderzoek verricht naar pigmenten en kleurstoffen op basis van schimmels en algen.

Ayben toont in 'Welcome to the two sides of life' werk dat ze maakte in het atelier.

U kan de tentoonstelling nog bezoeken tot en met 21 december 2023 op volgende momenten:

Since January 2023, Turkish professor Ayben Kaynar Tanir has been a guest at the Printmaking Studio of the Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent. With a Tübak scholarship in hand, she joined us for research on 'non-toxic printmaking' as part of her postdoctoral studies. The K.A.S.K. - School of Arts is also a partner in this postdoc, specifically the laboratory of Dr. Maria Boto Ordoñez, who conducts research on pigments and dyes derived from fungi and algae.

Ayben will be showcasing her work created in the studio in the exhibition titled 'Welcome to the two sides of life.'

We would like to invite you to the opening of the exhibition (with a lecture) on November 23, 2023, at 19:00 in room 108, the exhibition space of the Printmaking Studio >
